The club was runner-up tonight in the Community Club of the Year category award given by Sports Across Staffordshire And Stoke On Trent. This is a remarkable achievement when you think about the number of clubs in EVERY sport across the County. The winner goes on to the West Midlands Sportsman of the Year Awards at Villa Park and hosted by BBC.
We have another chance to be there as we are also in the short list of 4 for the Black Country Awards this Friday.
This is wonderful recognition for everyone within the club who play their part in making it a true community club.
Well done everyone!
Proud to be Wyrley.
