We cannot fully explain on here what a fantastic night the Club experienced last night. We received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (equivalent to an MBE) from the Lord Lieutenant Of Staffordshire in front of a packed clubhouse. There were representatives from teams, Staffs FA, 2 cadets, old managers, existing managers, friends of the club, Gt Wyrley Parish Council, donors of club trophies, committee, old players and existing players. A very well behaved U9s Panthers team who performed their duties exemplary, well compered by Scott Lyons and all in all the club shown in its true colours. Lots of compliments all round Well done everyone – proud to be Wyrley!
Pictures to be posted shortly!
