At the Club’s monthly meeting held on 17th September 2007, the inaugural Player of the Year award was presented to Stacey Arnold, who plays for the Ladies first team.
The Ben Young award was donated to the Club by the parents of Ben Young. Ben was a midfield player who played 3 seasons for the club before tragically dying in a car accident last year.
Stacey deservedly won the award after scoring over 60 goals for the Ladies last season and over 90 goals the season before. She has already scored 11 goals this season! She was signed by Birmingham City at the age of 12 before returning the club, and also turned down the opportunity to sign for Wolves this season.
