Magic & Hypnosis Night – March 10th

The Club has organised an evening of close magic, psychological magic and hypnosis on March 10th 2012, 8PM start at our Long Lane clubhouse. Tickets are Adults £5 and Children £3, which includes chili, rice or chips.

New Year’s Eve Party & Race Night functions

The Club has 10 tickets left at £2 each for the New Year’s Eve party at the Long Lane Clubhouse – we have limited the numbers to 100 maximum. There will be a disco provided by Scott Lyons and a buffet and curry laid on. The bar will be open until 2.00 a.m.

The Club’s annual race Night is taking place on Friday 27th January at the clubhouse. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children, including curry and chips and a racecard.

New Year’s Eve Party

The Club has a limited number of tickets left for its New Year’s Eve party at its Clubhouse in Long Lane. The ticket price is a nominal £2 per person. The entertainment will be Scott Lyons disco and we will organise a buffet.

The bar will be open until 2.00 a.m.

FA Cup at Wyrley Juniors!!

The FA Cup was on show for 5 hours at a packed Long Lane Clubhouse on 4th November. The Club had to bid for the trophy to be brought to our new home and we thank the FA for their support in enabling us to secure it.

Over 300 photographs were taken of individual players and teams.

Wyrley U7′s Tigers Christmas Disco 25th November 2011

The Tigers got in the festive spirit on Friday evening and swapped their football boots for their dancing shoes for a disco night at the clubhouse.

The event was organised by the parents for the Tiger’s and their families and friends. The outcome was great with spectactular music by our very own Scott of Wolf FM and food catered for by the parents.
The night consisted of party games and tombola and a special appearance by Wyrley Bear which topped the night.

Thank you to all family and friends for their support as all funds raised will go towards new equipment and kits for the team.

We hope everyone had a fun evening, from all the Tigers and parents we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

FA Cup Trophy Comes to Wyrley!

We are delighted to announce that the Club will be hosting the FA Cup Trophy on Friday evening 4th November 2011 at our Clubhouse in Long Lane, Essington.
There will be an opportunity for every team to have their photo taken with the trophy free of charge, with individual photographs available at a small charge. Managers should contact Keith to arrange their team’s photograph time.

Wyrley Family Fancy Dress Halloween Party – this Friday (28 Oct) – all welcome @ Long Lane

Don’t forget – The Wyrley Colts Under11′s (but OPEN TO ALL WYRLEY TEAMS!!) Family Halloween fancy dress party is taking place this Friday 28 October @ 7.30pm at the brand new Long Lane clubhouse. There will be a fully licensed bar, buffet, raffle and disco All Wyrley teams and their families are welcome to come along (it would be geat to see as man of you as possible), check out the new clubhouse and dance away the evening with the ghouls and ghosts. Admission is only £2 each or £5 per family. Any raffle prizes brought along on the evening will be more than welcome. Hope as many as possible can make it – if you dare!!!

LONG LANE OPEN DAY – OCTOBER 1st

Our 10 year vision of having our own base is coming to reality with our Clubhouse being handed over on Tuesday with pitches ready for next season. This has been after 10 years of hard graft in getting it up and running.
We are having an Open Day on October 1st with full details as follows: -

All teams to take part in a 10 hour sponsored match – teams time detailed below: -
The Gift Aid element will be paid to each team as a reward for their efforts i.e. 25%
The player who raises the most sponsorship within each team will get £20 Sports Shop vouchers

Times for teams to play: -

10.00 Girls Academy & 2 U10s Girls teams
11.00 Boys Academy & 2 U7s Boys teams
12.00 3 U8s Boys & 3 U9s boys teams
1.00 4 U10s Boys teams

We will have 2 mini soccer pitches marked out

There will also be: -

- bouncy castle and inflatable gladiators
- Food – we will serve burgers, sausage, bacon, samosas and chips all day plus hot and cold drinks.
- licensed bar
- Painball target zone
- Wolf FM will be there
- Tombola
- Raffle

There will be organised tours of the facility – which is impressive.

In addition we are also using the day to collect second hand clothes and mobile phones to raise funds for the Club – please bring them with you.

This is an exciting time for the National Community Club of the Year – please do all that you can to support the event!
