Wyrley Juniors kit donations reach Africa!
by Gareth (admin) on Jan.13, 2009, under Community Work
Kits donated by teams within Wyrley Juniors have now reached underprivileged communities in Ghana and Mozambique. Pictured above are children in Mozambique who were delighted with their kits.
Please continue to donate spare, unused or too small kit and boots via Andy Parfitt, the Club’s Kits to Africa liaison officer. Thanks must be given to Andy for giving us the opportunity to get involved with this worthwhile charity and for driving the initiative forward. 3 months ago this Wyrley Junior kit sponsored by (Gripperrods) of Cannock was added to Andy Parfitts collection of “KITS FOR AFRICA”. Up until then it had spent several years in my loft.A big thank you to you Andy and the R.A.F. for making this gift to the children of Mozambique possible.Trevor Smith.

Thanks for that Trev. But when you see smiling faces on kids who do not have a lot to smile about what’s a little effort on our behalf. Will be collecting at fun run so hope everybody has a good clear out.
