The Club will be laying wreathes at Great Wyrley, Cheslyn Hay and Essington Rembrance Services this year.
In addition the club is looking to raise £800 for the Poppy Appeal for the third year running by selling stick on poppies – as pictured below – to our players at £1 each. These are available through team managers. Many thanks to Lee France and Bri-Stor Limited for providing these to us free of charge.
Our good friends Essington RBL have organised a 24 hour Craft-a-thon and welcome help from all which is hoped will raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion. This takes place at Living in Loveliness in Essington.
The event is taking place between 6pm on Saturday 22nd October until 6pm Sunday 23rd October.
They will be spending 24 hours making and selling handcrafted goods from scarf’s to cards, bags and quilts plus much more.
