Wyrley put in a super team performance for their second win of the season. Penkridge had a couple of chances in the first 5 minutes but after that Wyrley took control, with keeper Beth Sowley and defenders Emily Galvin, Katherine Hall and Lucy Brown keeping Penkridge at a safe distance, while Sarah Bennett and Amber Stanley kept pushing forward from midfield to set up Katie Cox who scored a hat-trick. Amber Cowles, Katie Stansbie and Taylor-may Gillis came on at half-time and gave their all to make sure Wyrley took the points. Well done girls – let’s make it 2 on the run next week.
