Wyrley Panthers continued their unbeaten run on Saturday by beating rivals Walsall ladies 2-1.

Ina tough game Panthers had to work hard to get the victory. A goal by Emily Pettit from a goal kick in the first half put the pressue on Walsall ladies who fought back bravely until the second half when Panthers team work from defender Amy-Louise Dyson through pass to Rachel Cumberledge who played a neat one-two with Kaitlyn Traat and Rachel placed the ball in the corner of the net.

A nervous final minutes saw Walsall ladies pull a goal back but Wyrley Panthers held on for the win.

Excellent victory to Wyrley Panthers and well done to the girls.
