Girls you have won matches this season by 4, 5, 6, 7 goal margins but today’s 2-1 was just as good a display as all of those … if not better ….. and certainly more satisfying!
We were by far the better team but it was a tough game, countless through balls carried that little bit too far, we had a goal harshly ruled out, they hit us with probably one of only two shots on goal all game but you never gave up, you never doubted your ability, you never stopped playing good quality passing football and you got the result you thoroughly deserved!!
Great goals for Cloe Coldicott ‘n’ Lauren Walker (very welcome return to action with Ellie) and a magnificent effort from every one of the team!!
Superb Wyrley – well proud as always and you all should be too!!!

Squad: Cara Turner, Lauren Harris, Chloe Matthews, Rian Mullen, Hayley Leese, Ellie Walker, Sophie Tolley, Amy Rollason, Lauren Walker, Emma Stacey, Lara Morris, Tina Vidmar, Emily Scott, Cloe Coldicott, Jade Squire
