Starting at 3-0 down lol …. a neat close range finish from Lesi from yet another quality cross by Amy pulled one back just before half time – but in truth it was the least we deserved from all that possession and excellent play! Second half – same again – all the quality play came from Wyrley but a quick break and we are 4-1 down … but not for long!! When you have a centre back that can out skill the strikers before moving effortlessly through midfield and playing the ball into the box – not once but time after time – then there’s always a chance … Lauren Walker – outstanding!! So too Sophie Tolley – England class England quality – and you showed every ounce of it again today – awesome first touch Soph!! The goals were inevitable – great finish Ellie Walker from the edge of the box and an expertly taken penalty from Lesi closed the gap to 4-3. Last minute … free kick corner of the box … their linesman told me it would be the last kick of the game … doubt it mate! Step forward Ellesse Birkett … top corner never a doubt hat trick yet again ….  extra time!! No further score and the penalties started!! Worldie save from Cara put them on the back foot and magnificently struck shots from Ellie, Lauren, Chloe Coldicott, Soph and Captain Rian left us with a kick from Jade to win it following another Cara save … nerves of steel and a strike to match Jade smashed it in …. Wyrley you really were all absolutely superb!!!!!!!
Squad: Cara, Dani, Chloe Matthews, Lauren Walker, Rian, Lara, Soph, Scotty, Amy, Jade, Lesi, Ellie, Chloe Coldicott – brilliant every one of them!!
