Absolutely superb performance girls!

Lichfield will not have had any harder matches this season – Wyrley fought for every ball, gave them no time whatsoever and continually pushed them back into their own box. Then………they go and score from their first (and last) attack in the first half…..well that’s football isn’t it (plus one of the difficulties ofย  playing against an excellent team!!)

Far from letting their heads drop Wyrley started the second half on fire and time after time came close to equalising. Every player was magnificent throughout and with only 10 seconds left on the watch guess what………Chloe Arthur hit a scorcher from just inside the half way line which rocketted straight into the top corner of the net! Time for wild celebrations from everyone, barely time to kick back off.!

Could not ask for more effort and determination from anyone (parents included!) – keep it up girls you were fantastic!
