Back to back wins for Wyrley with a superb performance in terrible conditions. Wyrley scored early on with a well worked goal from classy striker Jordan and looked like going on to a convincing win until the hailstorm and torrential rain changed the game. Suddenly it became a battle in the mud ……. and we were well up for that!!  Awesome goal – for the fifth match in a row – from Superstriker Lessi secured the points and but for a late gift from the Ref the score would have better represented the match! He was so one-sided we had to mark him at corners in case he nodded one in at the back post!! Did them no good though ‘cus we were fantastic!!

Team: Cara Turner, Ellie Deakin, Lauren Harris, Beth Dutton, Captain Fantastic Rian Mullen, Emily Scott, Emma Cartwright, Emma Stacey, Keira Turner, Bonebreaker Jess ‘do not mess’ Arthur, Demi Leigh Energy, Lessi Birkett, Jordan Pendleton, Lara May Morris, Keeley Dabbs
