Winshill FC U13 Girls 4 – 0 Wyrley Juniors U13 Girls

Wyrley made a confident start in this tough match against a very good Winshill side. Early chances were few and far between for both teams until a fortunate deflection sent the ball looping over Keira into the top of the net. We were further undone just before halftime by a long run and superb finish by the Winshill winger – that one wasn’t lucky!!
Wyrley came out for the second half determined to get back into the game hitting the bar twice, post once and forcing the keeper into several excellent saves. Don’t think it was going to be our day as Winshill twice hit us on the break late into the game to ensure a great win for them.
We might have lost girls but Excellent performances all round!!
