A perfect pre-season friendly win for the U18s came as a result of some superb flowing football. Amy Rollason on the right wing and Jade Squire on the left were simply unstoppable and created chance after chance – most of which were clinically taken! Ellesse Birkett took very little time to open her account for this season with 5 excellent goals and 2 goals each for  Ellie and Lauren Walker were no less than they deserved for awesome performances! Our recent addition from West Brom Sophie Tolley capped an outstanding midfield display with the 10th – bursting through to calmly slot past the shell shocked Walsall Keeper! With Chloe Caldicott producing some scorching long range efforts it really was a powerful attacking line-up who certainly didn’t disappoint!! The defence marshalled by Captain Rian Mullen were solid and uncompromising throughout and never gave Walsall a clear chance all game. Well done Wyrley magnificent display!
