The win today girls was right up there with our best ever!!! Why? Because of the quality of the opposition, because we had players in positions they are not used to and because everyone of you gave everything you had to make sure we deservedly won the game!! Fantastic performance and shows what an amazing squad of pure quality footballers we have at Wyrley!! It’s just not fair to the other teams!! 🙂

The ‘Keeper saved one with her face again today lol!
Cara knows it takes something special to get praise from me but thought she really was outstanding!!

The Defence … magnificent!!!
It’s taken a long while to get clearance for Hayley to play but well worth the wait – you were everywhere and certainly let one or two of them know you were around!! Rian – experience in the middle and it showed with a brilliant performance! Lara – another playing out of position – but first to every ball and never stopped getting stuck in – loved it!! Chloe Matthews – top class from first whistle to last – well done! Lauren Harris sooo strong at left back – fantastic m8!!

Midfield … out of this world!!!
Super Sophie Tolley!! She is one awesome player! Foot in when needed but also precision passing of the highest quality which tears teams apart! Cloe ‘No H’ ‘Mines a double’ Coldicott – you are fantastic!! Frightened them to death and so tough!!! Amazing Amy Rollason – another game another goal! Absolutely lightening pace and you certainly know how to use it! And just as fast on the left is Jade … she puts in so much work for the team and started so many of our best moves today – great game Jade! Scotty … never stops running, never gives anything less than 110% and never lets us down!! Well done Em another performance to be proud of!!

Up front … Ellesse!! Need say no more really!!
When she plays, she scores – simple as that! Unstoppable! Absolute quality striker – played on her own up front today … still caused chaos in their defence .. superb Lesi!

Superstar Squad: Cara Turner, Lauren Harris, Chloe Matthews, Rian Mullen (capt), Hayley Leese, Lara Morris, Amy Rollason, Jade Squire, Sophie Tolley, Scotty, Cloe Coldicott, Lesi Birkett
