After a tough start to the season in the challenging new Staffordshire County Girls League the ‘real’ Under 15s Girls certainly turned up today!!

The girls ran out worthy winners after a terrfic battling performance against a very good team – one who we have never managed to beat before!

Too many superb performances to pick out a player of the match BUT a special mention for Emily Pettit who after 3 hours in A&E on Tuesday resulting in a patched up ankle was absolutely unbeatable in the centre of defence!

Burton Albion next in 2 weeks time girls and if you put in the same amount of effort and tough tackling as today they too will go back up the A38 with no points!!

Team: Cara Turner, Ellie Deakin, Lauren Harris, Emily Pettit, Rian Mullen, Keeley Dabbs, Emma Cartwright, Jess Arthur, Keira Turner, Emma Stacey, Emily Scott, Ellesse Birkett
