Pumas found the first quarter of this game hard going because an under strength Stags battled hard to stay in the game. Pumas raised their game for last ten minutes of the first half and were rewarded when Loo controlled a pinpoint Hannah throw in, then drove a volley out of the grasp of the keeper into the roof of the net. Jaffa and Danni started to control the midfield, Abi Hall benefitted by cooly finishing off a move started by Jaffa. Loo then set up Abi for her second to lead 3-0 at half time. This seemed to be turning into the loo and Abi show, but for all their excellent striking they were well supported by some good defending and midfield teamwork which is the main reason for such a convincing result.
