This was a typical cup semi final and not the open free flowing game both these sides are capable of. Every ball was contested fiercely in the first half, but very few chances were calved out by both teams during the half, which finished goaless. Pumas enjoyed a little more possession at the beginning of the second half, a headed clearance by Karis Foreman was picked up by Danni Biggs who found Abi Hall who still had plenty to do, she calmly beat two defenders before coolly slotting her shot in the bottom corner of the net to put the Pumas one up. Lichfield put pressure on the Pumas goal towards the end of this game but Jordan Parker, Abby Judson, Ellie Whitehouse and Karis Foreman repelled their attacks. Lichfields only chance of the game was saved well close to the final whistle by Lauren Manton in the Pumas goal. Every Pumas player played their part in this game and Lauren Quinn, Rian Mullen, Jaffa, Ilora Anderson and Lucy Wells deserve a mention for their hard work during this game to achieve this wonderful result.
