This was a closely contested game, Pumas defending the slope in the first half were unfortunate to concede the first goal, Wednesfield right winger latching onto a poor clearance to coolly slot the ball into the corner of the net, Pumas struggled to get out of their own half but managed a couple of breaks the final pass just eluding the Pumas strikers, Wednesfield went 2 up with a good finish just inside the box just before half time. The second half and Pumas managed to raise their spirits and their game, man of the match Abby Judson covering every blade of grass for the Pumas, the final ball though just missing for the Pumas, Abi Hall pulled a goal back for the Pumas, latching onto a through ball, to make the game a tense last few minutes,  Jaffa’s well struck shot just before the end was well saved by the Wednesfield replacement goalie, this enabled them to hold on for the victory.
