CENTRAL WARWICKSHIRE GIRLS FOOTBALL LEAGUE

WYRLEY JUNIORS UNDER 16’s MATCH REPORT FOR 17/09/11

  WYRLEY JUNIORS 3 v 0 DOSTHILL COLTS

Wyrley were determined to start well and got into their stride quickly, some good work down the right by Abi Hall saw the ball run onto Meg Titley, still with plenty to do, she steadied the ball and then hit an excellent shot inside the near post to put Wyrley 1-0 up within the first few minutes.  Wyrley went further in front when Titley got her second after being put through by hard working Kate Lawton. Wyrley created other chances but just couldn’t apply the finishing touches to end the first half 2 up. Wyrley continued to dominate the second half and both midfield and defence played solidly and well together. Hayley Leese drove forward well and Abi Hall continued her fine form down the right hand side of the pitch, However it was man of the match Titley who made the game safe for Wyrley latching on to a great through ball to claim her first hat-trick for Wyrley Juniors. Wyrley went close a few minutes later when a Danni Biggs header was cleared off the line from an excellent Jaffa corner.

Great team work girls well played today.
