Gornal ladies 1 v Wyrley Juniors 8,

This was a great team effort by Wyrley, They surpassed their best ever win in this league with a devastating exhibition of finishing, especially in the first half which Wyrley finished 6 goals to the good. Chloe Coldicott opened Wyrley account in the first minute, staying onside to slot the rebounded ball into the back of the net. Kate Lawton hit Wyrley’s second a confident strike just inside the box, Wyrley continued to breach the Gornal offside trap and Danni Biggs turned the Gornal defence to cooly hit her shot into the bottom corner of the net, Lawton and Coldicott both hit their second goals before Jordan Parker completed the first half rout with a confidently hit penalty. The second half and Gornal had their best spell of the match for the first 15-20 minutes and got a goal back but a Biggs volley and a Lawton  strike to complete her hat-trick meant that Wyrley ran  out 8-1 winners.
