Wednesbury Wildcats 3 Wyrley Panthers 3

Panthers got off to a storming start and within 10 minutes Lizzy Scoines had scored Panthers 1st goal where she smoothly hit a clearance from Wildcats just outside the box straight into the top of the net, panthers where playing there normal passing football and creating many chances with Chloe Coldicott picking up two goals from long range wide shots soaring right over the stranded Wildcats keeper, just before half time goalkeeper Ellie Evans pulled off a teriffic save from a shot by the wildcats winger to see Panthers go in 3-0 up at the interval.
Second half started with Panthers defence of Shannon, Amy and Katie coming under a lot of pressure from the Wilcats forwards and also the rain became heavier which resulted in an early second half goal for Wildcats.
Panthers sat a bit on there lead but Jody and Alicia up front both had chances on goal saved. Maddy and Rolo played there part in midfield but Panthers where caught out again with 2 quick breaks 10 minutes from time to bring the score level 3 – 3. In the last 10 seconds of the match Panthers where denied a clear penalty when Alicia beat the Wildcats defence with her pace and was pulled back from behind which the referee stated he did not see and also the pass back to the keeper after this was also not seen, Wyrley where amazed at the decision however thats football, the full time whistle was then blown immediatley.
Well done Panthers another point and well done Wildcats for a great game on a very wet blustery day.
