 WYRLEY PUMAS 0 v 0 LICHFIELD DIAMONDS

It was nice to take to the field in bright warm sunshine for a change, but the game unfortunately didn’t match the excellent spring conditions. Both teams defences worked hard and stayed on top throughout the game, Lauren Manton, Jordan Parker and Ellie Whitehouse forming a solid backline combination for the Pumas, There were few opportunities in the game Pumas man of the match Abi Hall was unlucky when a strong run in the first half saw her beat the Lichfield last defender only for her shot to fly past the near post. Jaffa had a couple of shots from the edge of the box but the Lichfield keeper was equal to them. In the end the draw was perhaps a fair reflection on the game.
