Wyrley Panthers U9 2010

Hooray, Panthers Under 9’s got their first win of the season today as they played a tight match against Beechdale Juniors at Willenhall Sports College.

With both teams having good possession & testing each other’s goalkeepers on a number of occasions, Lewis made some excellent saves for the Panthers. As the teams went into the second half without any goals there was still everything to play for. With Panthers defence heavily marking Beechedales key striker, an excellent goal early in the second half scored by newcomer Jake, filled the Panthers with confidence that couldn’t be penetrated.

The 1 – 0 win to the Panthers was just what the team needed.

Well done to Lewis & Damian who were todays man of the match, both very well deserved!

Brilliant work today from all the team, lets hope it is the first win of many!!
