The Wyrley Colts u11’s came back from 1-0 down on Sunday against Great Barr Harriers to win by an emphatic 6-1!¬† Goals from Cameron Purchase, Jack Lyons, Sam Holdcroft and Jake Powers (3) saw the Colts come away with all three points following a shaky start. If this had been a game in our post-Christmas league, which also¬†included Great Barr, the win would have took us to top of the table. However, apparently it was our game against them in the pre-Christmas league (albeit 5 months late!) so unfortunately, in this earlier league, in which we hadn’t played a game for several months, we did not move upwards – the intricacies of the Walsall League and all that – my head hurts!!!

Never mind, a wins a win….
