A close quarter final against a strong Tipton Youth team ended in a 5-5 stalemate for the Wyrley Colts U11s, courtesy of a hat trick from Jake Powers and two from Dylan Sutton. Extra time saw no further goals so it went to a tense penalty shoot out. Following which, the Colts emerged as 3-1 winners, thanks to two fantastic saves from goalkeeper Connor Brimfield. Onto the semi-final of the cup next week against Bloxwich.

The team will be having their group photograph for their forthcoming summer tournament at Cleethorpes, before the game – so haircuts all round!!!
