Match Report:- Wyrley Juniors United U15’s Season 2015-16

Lichfield League Division 2.

Chasetown Scholars  1 v Wyrley Juniors United 0

United started the better of the two teams and the passed the ball well. Scholars were certainly on the back foot, but on a narrow pitch and with plenty of numbers behind the ball they were not easy to breakdown.  United did create a few opportunities, Tom Wheeldon and Joe Boyce going close. The Scholars keeper however was equal to everything United threw at him. United went behind when Chasetown had a slice of luck, a poor clearance fell into their forwards path who took his chance well. United did get the ball in the net but the goal was disallowed for foul play. Chasetown had got their goal and set up in the second half to keep their lead, United opened their defence up a couple of times but Scholars inspired keeper was not to be beaten on this occasion . United man of the match was Elliot Crook who worked tirelessly throughout the match.
