Dragons Under 11’s enjoyed a day out, on Wednesday 12th August, at the Staffs FA Festival of Football held at Stones Dominoes Movita Park Ground in Yarnfield, Staffordshire.

The Staffs FA, in association with Macdonalds, organised the Football Festival for all football clubs that had achieved the FA Charter Standard in the region as a thank you for the hard work that goes into achieving the award and all the effort required to maintain the standard.

During the day the team along with various other clubs from the Staffs region, participated in many different coaching sessions based on different skills and techniques including controlling, passing, dribbling and shooting all under the watchful eye of Staffs FA coaches. At the end of the day the lads got the chance to put any new found skills into practise with a few games of mini soccer style football.

All managers also had the opportunity to watch the various sessions and talk to the Staffs FA Coaches to gain tips and new ideas to implement into their own training sessions.

Wyrley Juniors Dragons Under 11’s and Wyrley Juniors FC would like to thank the Staffs FA, Gareth Thomas (Staffs FA Charter Standard Development) and all the Staffs FA coaches for organising such a great day.
