Lions had a great day at Rushall Olympic FC being ball boys for their Whitby Town home game.  The day involved:

Meet the players

Tour of the ground

Tour of the changing rooms

45 minutes training session with a coach

Ball boys for the duration of the match

Half time penalty shoot out in front of the crowd

Hot food buffet at end of the match with drinks

Man of the match involvement in the clubhouse at the end of the game

The whole package was a great day out for everyone, Lions enjoyed every minute, with Jim winning the penalty shootout in front of the home crowd, and a home win for Rushall Olympic FC too.

The package is open to any Wyrley club as Rushall Olympic FC welcome all Wyrley junior teams.

The price of the package is a bargain at £60, available for up to 14 children, also including 6 adult tickets into the game with any additional adult tickets being discounted from the match-day gate price.

Rushall Olympic FC will allow one team per home game to enjoy this package and any team wishing to take advantage of this excellent offer should contact the football club’s Commercial Consultant Jonathan Martin on 01939 260099 or 07971 979261.

Wyrley Lions would like to thank Jonathon and the team at Rushall Olympic FC for the great day we had, and also the message that the boys came away with, that they could all enjoy football at this level if they work hard at their game and their fitness.  We would really recommend this excellent day out.

Thanks Rushall – look forward to being ball boys again in the spring.

John Dean
