Cougars had all the opening play again this week , but again failed to make the most of their possession wasting chance after chance . Wednesfield took the lead half way through the 1st half with a very contentious penalty decision from the referee as Josh Cowley clearly played the ball 1st but from 30 yards away the ref gave a penalty . Cougars where back on terms shortly after James Bridges picked up the ball in midfield feed the ball into Sam Day who had his shot blocked but James had continued his run to smash in the rebound . The secound half started much as the 1st with Wednesfield on the back foot , but Umar Farooq through ball to Sam Day saw the striker slot the ball into the bottom corner . Waqaar Abbas doubled Cougars lead a few minutes later as he broke the off-side to smash the ball into the roof of the net. Waqaar Abbas helped himself to a brace as he stole in on the back post to convert Grant Marimba’s cross.
