After taking a gamble & entering a young team into the West Midland Regional league ,the lads have settled quicker than expected . There were a few worried faces after losing the 1st game 5-0 to an experienced AFC Ludlow side , but we got our heads together at training & tried to sort out the issues. The following Saturday we entertained a very good Warstone side & despite having a lot of the ball came away with a 3-2 defeat but very encouraged with the performance . This Saturday we welcomed Wolverhampton community sporting & a very entertaining 1st half finished goal less . After not starting the 2nd half well & going a goal down the lads started to play some good football & when Hayden Hughes got brought down inside the penalty box & converted the penalty the young lads had a good spell & extended their lead when Neil Sinclair clearly headed a corner back into the danger area for Luke Shail to force over the line . Sporting did a have a lot of the ball the last 10 minutes but Wyrley stood strong for a deserved win .
