Showcasing our U8s LK09: –

Manager Justin parker

Assistant Manager Shaun Brookes

Helping Hands Geoff Waddison and Rachel

We are a new team under 10 months old which started out as wyrley lions, but i asked the managers of LK09 under 15,Andy and Shaun, who were no longer going to put a team together whether i could carry the name LK09 on and so it unfolds

We are sponsored by FUSION who brought our kit and our rain jackets were brought by a very generous couple Mr and Mrs Parker, friends of one of the players grandads

Shaun and myself are new to all this but have had so much backing from the parents

Every time we play it makes me so proud of how far these players have come from a bunch of under 8 lads which most of them had never played football before

We as a club have tried to instill the importance of a passing game rather than kick it and chase it

We train at Cheslyn Hay Leisure centre on fridays which i try to get them working together in a fun and disciplined environment

So far we have several bag packs on our list, and have done one, these have enabled us to pay for the lads to go to a football tournament in Pwllheli which we have payed for

I hope we can carry on the work that has started and progress to be a strong happy club
