Today in week 6 we kicked off at a new time of 9.30 at Cheslyn hay leisure centre against Brewood Juniors whom we didn’t know much about as it was that time to kick off our first tournament of the season. With the past year together through the academy and pre season and the weeks before doing so well today was not what we all expected, with absences from training mid week due to illness and a few colds going around it was obvious to say we was not sharp out the blocks but needless to say we played excellent none the less in the first game with brewoods goalkeeper making some excellent saves from James Evans. I can tell our pumas are starting to look more and more as a team passing it around and not as individuals trying to take on every player.

Man of the Match – Bray Makin
Our Second Game of the day was against Wednesbury Aces who i can safely say are an excellent team with some very young talented players. Saying that i don’t think the result did us justice as i know our pumas are also excellent in every position. We kicked off and started our business but we just couldn’t cope with the counter attack even with our tactics being tight with Bray Makin making tackle after tackle. This is definetly a learning curve for our pumas and with training just around the corner we will lift our heads high and prepare ourselves for the last 2 fixtures of the tournament next week at cheslyn hay.
