Wyrley Blind Team news

We are delighted to announce that our latest ‘Football For All’ team – our Blind Team – is getting very close to being launched.
Players have been found via our strong link with The Beacon Centre for the Blind in Wolverhampton; we have a potential coach/manager lined up; a venue for training and a name being agreed by the players – to be shared shortly.

This is more tremendous news for the club as we seek to give everyone who wants to play the game the opportunity to do so. We see our role, as one of the largest Community Clubs in England, to get people playing the game and this news comes rapidly after the launch of our Mental Wellbeing team earlier this week.

We are also making great strides in getting a Deaf team organised. If anyone has any contacts with anyone with hearing difficulties, who may be interested in either playing, coaching or volunteering their time, please ask them to leave a comment/message here or contact Keith on 07836202764.

Proud to be Wyrley!
