The Staffs FA  supported free coaching event for girls of all ages took place last night at Great Wyrley Performing Arts High School. I was delighted to see 37 girls of all ages and abilities taking part in a fun filled session, which concentrated on girls expressing themselves in 4 v 4 games.

As a result of the session, we have hopefully gained 5 new girls to the club (and a couple of brothers too!), which clearly is what the event was about.

My thanks go to Kevin and Matt from Staffs FA for supporting and promoting the event and to Scott Wood, Martin Cooper, Martin Millard and Sean Ponder who helped with the coaching.

Just a reminder to all Wyrley Managers and parents that we are still looking for 6 year old girls to create a girls only Under 7s team and also 8 and 9 year old girls to create 2 Under 10s teams. If you know of any girl interested, please provide their details to me.
