After 2 weeks of rest after another hectic weekend – and weeks running up to it – we can now reflect on yet another successful tournament!

Highlights included –

162 teams took part – making it by far the largest sporting event in the area. Teams from Shropshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, West Midlands all took part.
1500 players taking part.
Fantastic organisation meaning all finals finished before 4.30.
All car parking off street.
Everything away by 7.00 on the Sunday.
The arrival of the Air Ambulance was coped with extremely well and should give comfort that we have the right level of medical support at the event.
Loads of positive comments and feedback.
Full adherance to FA Rules – i.e. non competitive football for U6s, U7s and U8s.
21 fully qualified referees on each day.
Excellent standard of football.
Excellent facilities – thank you Moat Hall primary School and Great Wyrley High School.

Thanks go to the parents, managers, committee and friends of the club who gave up their time in helping out before and during the tournament. Well done everyone!

The planning has now started for 2014!
