Wyrley Veterans had a full team in last nights fixture against Sporting Khalsa.

Unfortunately that was the only positive outcome, as we were 2 goals down after 10 minutes. This was followed by the veterans keeper leaving the field with an existing injury before half time. Andy Parfitt took over in goal and performed admirably in atrocious weather conditions. The veterans rallied in the second half but a combination of being a man down and awful weather the veterans ended the game losing 8-4 I am now out for the rest of the season with a broken foot. What a great start to 2014 🙂
