Founded in 1982

The club was formed in 1982, is a registered charity and holds the highest award a charity can obtain - The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service! It has the highest FA 3 Star Accreditation and is the only club in England to receive a national award from The FA twice - Community Club of the Year in 2011 and 2017. It has it's own base opened at Long Lane (sponsored by Synergy Electrical Innovations Limited) in 2011 and is close to completing is second site - Harrisons Ground.

The club's ethos is football for all - allowing any player from ages 3 to 63 to enjoy the game of football. It has nearly 40 male teams, has been a leader in developing the female game for 23 years with 25 teams and 3 FA Wildcats Centres, and is now growing its Disability offering with 4 autistic teams in place. With nearly 70 teams and over 900 players, the club is the largest football club in Staffordshire but still values its family and community feel.
