After the Christmas break and the snow we finally managed to play our first games of 2013.  We were down to one sub for both games so a change of positions for the boys was required, which worked well.  Matty was captain for both games.

The first game was against Walsall Phoenix, Tom scored the first goal then sustained an injury to his face which didn’t keep him down.   He  then went on to score another goal just minutes later.  We went into the second half in the lead.  Walsall Phoenix managed to equal the score but not before Tom made it a hat-trick!  We finished on a draw.

The second game against Park Hill game alive within minutes when Keane scored the first goal for us followed by a lovely chip in from Harvey for the second.  Going into the second half we were in the lead.  Tom scored yet again and nearly scored another one from a free kick from the halfway line !  An own goal from Walsall comfortably secured a great win for us.

Well done to all the lads.  Considering the long break we have had you are all growing in confidence and improving on your technique.
