Beechdale Juniors 0-0 Wyrley Panthers

Panthers fought hard today and kept on top of the Beechdale strikers. The first half was more in Panthers favour as they kept Beechdale in there own half for long periods and even went close a couple of times.
Half Time 0-0.
The seconds half saw Beechdale push harder but Panthers coped well. The last ten minutes got a little hairey for Panthers – a saved shot dropped to a Beechdale striker who litterally rolled the ball over the bar from three yards out, a corner headed fractionly wide and a shot parried over the bar but, Panthers held on to keep a clean sheet.
