Rain soaked muddy pitches were never going to make for any form of spectacle and, so it proved but, somehow the opposition seemed to cope and Panthers struggled.
Panthers didn’t really get started in this one. I’ll keep it brief – Panthers had one shot of note in the first half from Tyler which was well saved but Beechdale had nearly all the possession and made it count by scoring three times.
The second half saw far more from Panthers. The passing and defensive clearances were starting to find Panthers strikers – Tyler and Louie were making some good shots which were either just wide of well saved by the Beechdale keeper. Then eventually, we got one back as Louie got past the last defender and scored with a neat shot. Just before the final whistle Panthers put together a very impressive build up, working the ball so well through midfield that Beechdale were left standing but the final shot went wide.

Full time 3-1.
