Panthers started with an early shot from Tyler that went narrowly wide. After this Panthers found themselves under a lot of presssure and Beechdale took the lead on seven minutes. Although Panthers tried to fight back, Beechdale continued to maintain posession and finished the half three goals ahead.
Panthers started the second half a lot more brightly, taking the game to Beechdale, and in the seventeenth minute a beautifully flighted cross from Louie was converted by Tyler at the far post. Things were now improving and Panthers continued to press for another goal as defence and midfield won and kept the ball far more. Shots on goal were now coming frequently but, on twenty minutes Beechdale broke away to make it 4-1. Heads didn’t drop and in the 24th minute Louie scored with a crisp shot to bring it back to 4-2. Both sides Battled hard in the latter stages but it was Beechdale who finished the scoring late on to clinch the match 5-2.
Wyrley played well overall but paid the price for a slow start.
