Brereton 1 – Wyrley Pumas 2

Saturday 2 October

Another fantastic game with all the girls now giving it at least 110%.   It was a strong first half when a tackle on Brereton resulted in a penalty kick to them being taken and the ball landed in the back of our net – missing our goalie Chloe’s fingertips leaving her face down in the mud.  Well done to Chloe anyway.   The girls were not going to be defeated and kept their shoulders high.   Second half was so see the Pumas get a win.  The first goal was put into the net by Chloe Williams who booted the ball from the half way line with such force that no-one saw it coming – Chloe was surrounded with girls jumping on her and what a smile on her face – brilliant Chloe just what we needed to put us back in the game.  The competition was now on.    There was a tremendous amount of good defending as the ball was going from one end to the other.  Dani took the winning goal – Dani you are a star.

Pumas you ran your little legs of today – you are all fantastic. WHAT A TEAM !!!!!!!

The parents player was awarded to Chloe Williams and Managers Player to Dani.

Brereton were a good strong team to play making it a really good game – Well done to Brereton too.
