Colts U11’s well deserved win

Wyrley Colts under 11’s won an exciting encounter against Cresswell Wanderers Colts 5-3 this morning. Wyrley raced into a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Jake Powers and Sam Holdcroft before Cresswell pulled 2 back. However, a further two goals from Jake, giving him his first hat-trick of the season and a rocket from a delighted Jaaaaack Parker, gave the Colts a much deserved win. A special mention should also go to goalkeeper Connor Brimfield for a wonder save from a second-half penalty. Well done the lads!!! Finally some over enthusiastic parents got reminded by the linesman of the need to stand back from the touchline while the game is underway….
