Jaaaaack Parkers last kick of the game penalty gave the Colts a 3-2 win in their last pre-season friendly away against Brewood on Wednesday. Rain, wind, grey, damp, drizzle, cold and more rain (it is still officially summer isn’t it?) greeted the players at kick off, but it didn’t stop the Colts racing in to a quick two goal lead, with both goals coming from Jake Powers following on from his brace at the weekend. Brewood came back strong to pull it back to 2-2, and as the game came towards its end, a draw seemed on the cards. However, a last minute penalty saw Jaaaaack bring victory to the Colts. Thats three unbeaten games going into the first competitive games on Sunday. Still drying out 24 hours later!!
