Jaaaaack Parkers last kick of the game penalty gave the Colts a 3-2 win in their last pre-season friendly away against Brewood on Wednesday. Rain, wind, grey, damp, drizzle, cold and more rain (it is still officially summer isn’t it?)¬†greeted the players at kick off, but it didn’t stop the Colts racing in to a quick two goal lead, with both goals coming from Jake Powers following on from his brace at the weekend. Brewood came back strong to pull it back to 2-2, and as the game came towards its end, a draw seemed on the cards. However, a last minute penalty saw Jaaaaack bring victory to the Colts. Thats three unbeaten games going into the first competitive games on Sunday. Still drying out 24 hours later!!
