An all round good performance today from all the Wyrley lads. It was difficult to single out players as they all put a shift in.

Cosford, although a 2nd division side, were well organised and hard working. It was sheer determination and hard work that finally broke them down in an otherwise fairly even first half.

Wyrley worked hard as a team, to put into practise what they have been doing in training and it paid off with some good passing and movement which created the goals. Credit to Rob and Shaun for their encouragement and persistence, working with the strengths and weaknesses within the team.

Another clean sheet thanks to a solid defensive performance and good understanding between the keeper and back line. Encouraging signs of the team now gelling together on and off the pitch with subs giving their team mates support from the side lines. A very positive performance.

Well done to Ben whose efforts finally paid off with an assist, a goal and man of the match.

Goals: Ben, Christian, Jacob, Kane(2), Simo.
