Forest FC 1 Wyrley Junior Panthers 7

18th January 2015

Venue: – Leamore Park

Man of the Match:- No 3 Daniel and No 7 JK

When Panther’s last met Forest FC they draw, this match was very different with Panther’s from the start putting pressure on Forest FC.

For the first fifteen minutes Panther’s could not get through the defence of Forest when No 20 Joe broke through and opened the scoring. Panther’s started playing their game and the passing was great. Then No 42 Andy had a shot but Forest keeper pushed it away only for No 20 Joe to pounce and got the second goal. Pressure kept on being made by Panther’s until the half time whistle.

Second Half started off as the first with Panther’s still attacking, when No 20 Joe scored Panther’s third goal. The fourth goal was scored by No 9 Will after some great passing from the defenders when once again Panther’s broke and No 23 Murph scored to make it five. Forest then came back with strong attacks but Panther’s defence kept them out when the ball was pushed forward and No9 Will scored no six. Forest kept the pressure on when No 42 Andy was put through from some great passing again from the Panther’s defence and midfield to make it seven. Forest Fc didn’t give up and in the last minutes they got one back and that made Panther’s go on the attack even more but unfortunately the ref blew her whistle to end a great game.

The referee was good today letting the game flow, also thanks to No 6 konnor’s brother Daniel for running the line.

Well done Panther’s a great game.
