Panthers started brightly, forcing a corner in the first minute, unfortunately the ball passed through the box and out on the far side. From that point on, Handsworth took control and scored in the fourth minute and then in the sixth (2-0). Panthers battled well and on eight minutes a well struck shot by Ben hit the post but Tyler’s follow up went over the bar. Handsworth continued to push forward and scored a third a minute later. Panthers tried hard to get back into the game, a cross from Tyler was well met by Ben but the ball crept just wide. Handsworth confirmed their dominance just before half time with a fourth goal.

Second half – There was little more to mention from a Panthers point of view bar a couple of attacks that were snuffed out by Handsworth and a cross well saved by Josh. After Handsworth netted two more, the match was done and dusted.
Full Time 6-0.
Handsworth have several quite tall players who head the ball well and most Panthers forward passes were headed straight back, making it difficult to get into the opposition half. A tough result, especially after beating the top team.
