Lane Head Spartans 1 Wyrley Junior Panthers 1

5th October 2014

Venue: – Bentley west

Today panthers played a hard fought game against a team that in the first half gave them a run for their money. Time after time Lane Head played the long ball. Keeper No1 Kyle made some great saves today and the defence were put under a lot of pressure. Lane Head scored the first goal and that put Panther’s once again on the back foot.

As the second half got under way Panther’s made sure that they increased their pressure by constantly challenging and picking the ball off Lane Head. Panther’s started to dominate and passing came back into play for them. Time after time they attacked and Lane head could not get the play out of their half just as Panther’s could not get a goal passed their keeper.

With 8 Minutes left No 20 Joe got away and slipped the ball past the keeper and made it one all, but Panther’s did not give up their pressure and still pinned Lane Head in their own half until the whistle was sounded for the end of the match.

Man of the Match No 5 Callum

The Referee had a hard match today and made some difficult decisions, also thanks to Ben and JK and Joe‘s dad’s for running the line.

Well done Panther’s .
