Wyrley LK09 V Silverdale Saints

LK09 started the game on a positive note attacking from the off with some good passing and controlling the ball.We  win a corner which  Keane takes,Harvey gets on the end of it and fires it in to the back of the net.Silverdale Saints apply the pressure getting some good shots on goal and forcing our defenders to work hard and Logan to make some great saves.Matty gets a shot on goal but sends it over the crossbar.Second half LK09 start full of confidence passing the ball round until Silverdale Saints get the ball and test our defence.Fancy footwork from Harvey and a shot on goal keeps the lads wanting more.With Harry Allan scoring a cracking goal and Luke has a great attempt which then sets up Harvey for another super goal.Well done lads on keeping a clean sheet.A fantastic performance from everyone!

Wyrley LK09 V Shire Oak Sharks

Lk09 again come out attacking but soon find themselves in their own half defending.Shire Oak Sharks are soon a goal up  coming from a free kick.A near miss from Keane, and Matty on a mission sends the ball into the net.Shire Oak Sharks break and make our  defenders work hard.With the lads linking up passing and cotrolling Harvey gets on target and sends it past the keeper.Shot taken by Tom sends it just wide.Second half Shire Oak Sharks put the pressure on and results in 2 goals for them.LK09 don’t give up even though legs are tired,they are still determind to snatch a goal.Keane has a shot and Matty just chips it over the bar.Never giving in they keep up the pressure till the whistle blows.Well played lads,a good team effort.
